Camp rules 

 

 

Drugs 

According to Norwegian legislation use of or being in possession of drugs 

is strictly prohibited. 

 

The management and staff of Handicamp will practice a no-tolerance for 

drugs at the camp and controls might be carried out. Any findings will 

result in immediate information to authorities and exclusion from the 

camp. 

 

1. Housing 

a. Rooms 

The rooms are prepared for wheelchair users. Normally 4 

persons pr. room, but we may rearrange this depending on the 

space needed for special equipment as hoist. 

b. Bedclothes 

This follows the rooms and will be changed after a week. 

 

2. Personal equipment 

You should bring cloths suitable for Norwegian summer and 

activities as indicated in the preliminary camp program. Our 

summer temperature may vary around 20 – 25 C. Rain is expected. 

Bring personal toilet equipment, hairdryer etc. 

 

3. Clothes 

Washing 

Washing machine and dryer is available but you have to queue 

up and adjust to the other participants. 

 

4. Special equipment. 

In the application document you will be asked if you bring your own 

equipment as wheelchair or other items. If more convenient, we can 

arrange for wheelchairs and shower chairs at the camp.
